Abstract:
To provide a production method of a brush in which, in a plurality of brush bristles formed of a carbon fiber bundle of a carbon fiber, folding and breakage or the like of the carbon fiber can be suppressed (reduced).SOLUTION: In a film layer formation step (ST02), a soft resin PA is applied to brush surfaces BA, BB on both sides of a brush sheet B1, for forming cushion film layers 3, 4 on the respective brush surfaces BA, BB on each chain stitch part 2 side of the brush sheet B1. In a mold set step (ST03), an upper mold 6 and a lower mold 7 are pressed to residual respective film layer parts 3B, 4B except for respective film layer parts 3A, 4A on each chain stitch part 2 side on the respective cushion film layers 3, 4, and the brush sheet B1 is set on a mold 5. In a base molding step (ST04), by the respective film layer parts 3B, 4B, a synthetic resin PB is filled in respective sheet ends BX, BY sides of the brush sheet B1 for molding a base 25. In a cutting step (ST05), the brush sheet B1 on which the base 25 is molded is cut for dividing the brush sheet into a plurality of brushes X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
