Abstract:
To provide a non-excitation operation type electromagnetic brake which can prevent a released clutch member from contacting with an armature and a side plate.SOLUTION: A non-excitation operation type electromagnetic brake 1 has electromagnets 10 which are sequentially aligned in one direction so as to be parallel with one another, an armature 20, a clutch member 30 and a side plate 40, and also has a second elastic member 90 for energizing the clutch member 30 in an axial line direction. A shaft 60 for slidably supporting the armature 20 and the clutch member 30 in the axial line direction is arranged at an internal peripheral part 11a of the electromagnet 10. The shaft 60 has a stopper part for regulating the movement of the clutch member 30 to the electromagnet 10 side in the axial line direction. The clutch member 30 which is released by electricity-carrying to the electromagnet 10 is pushed and pressed against the stopper part by the second elastic member 90, and positioned in the axial line direction so as to be separable from the armature 20 and the side plate 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
