Abstract:
To provide a muscle contraction detection sensor for improving accuracy in detecting contraction of the muscles.SOLUTION: A muscle contraction detection sensor for detecting contraction of the muscles includes: a base plate; a first pressing member pressed to the muscles, and composed of a first fluid storage part arranged on an upper plate part opposed to the muscles of the base plate, and a second fluid storage part arranged on a position excluding the upper plate part and connected to the first fluid storage part in a flow channel; a first pressure detection part having a contact surface with the second fluid storage part, and detecting a first pressure added to the contact surface from the second fluid storage part; a second pressing member pressed to the muscles, and having a different projection height from the upper plate part of the base plate in an unloaded condition from the first pressing member; and a second pressure detection part for detecting a second pressure added from the second pressing member. Contraction of the muscles is detected on the basis of a change in a difference or a ratio between the first pressure and the second pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
