Abstract:
To provide a method for generating arynes, and a method for producing polyortho-arylene.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for generating arynes by using 2-halogenosulfonic acid aryl ester derivative represented by the general formula (1) (wherein, Rrepresents an alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom; two R's may be the same or different; X represents a halogen atom; A represents a perfluoro alkanesulfonyl group); an organosilicon reagent represented by the general formula (3) (wherein, Rrepresents a heteroaryl group having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkynyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, allyl group or benzyl group); and an aryne-generating agent comprising cesium salts.
