Abstract:
To prevent the function of a bearing wall from deteriorating even when a large external force repeatedly acts on a wooden framework structure, an end face of a brace from being damaged even when a large force acts on the bearing wall from multiple directions, a brace itself from buckling or breaking, and the brace from being embedded in a horizontal member.SOLUTION: A brace bearing wall 1 of a building of a wooden framework structure formed by mounting a brace 6 on a diagonal line of a rectangular frame made up of right and left columns 2, 3, an upper side horizontal member 4 and a lower side horizontal member 5 is configured such that at an upper corner part of the rectangular frame to which the brace 6 is attached, an upper end surface of the brace 6 and a lower surface of the upper side horizontal member 4 make surface contact with each other; at a lower corner portion of the rectangular frame to which the brace 6 is attached, a lower end surface of the brace 6 and an upper surface of the lower horizontal member 5 make surface contact with each other; and an upper end 6B and/or a lower end 6C of the brace 6 are made of a first low elastic modulus member having a lower longitudinal elastic modulus than that of the upper horizontal member 4 or the lower horizontal member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
