Abstract:
To provide a shaft device which enables reduction of an axial length of an output shaft, and to provide a gear mechanism and an oil seal.SOLUTION: A shaft device 15 includes: a shaft member 40 having a center axis line L; a cylindrical member 11 arranged at an outer periphery of the shaft member 40 coaxially with the shaft member 40; and an oil seal 50 having a fixed part 51 which is fixed to an end surface 11b of the cylindrical member 11 and exits on a plane S orthogonal to the center axis line L of the shaft member 40, a seal part 54 which is at least partially located on the plane S and contacts the shaft member 40, and a connection part 57 which connects the fixed part 51 and the seal part 54 with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
