Abstract:
To shorten the entire length of a multi-stage type cryogenic freezer while suppressing the deterioration of performance.SOLUTION: A cross-shaped connector of a displacer assembly includes a first connector pin 24a and a second connector pin 24b, and couples a second displacer upper cover portion 22a to a first displacer lower cover portion 20b so that a second displacer 22 can incline in fore-and-aft and right-and-left directions with respect to a displacer 20. The first connector pin 24a is inserted in a pair of first pin holes 48 of the first displacer lower cover portion 20b so as to be orthogonal to a displacer center axis, and the second connector pin 24b is inserted in a pair of second pin holes 52 of the second displacer upper cover portion 22a so as to be orthogonal to the displacer center axis. The connector pin 24b has a lateral hole 56 positioned in a second recessed portion 50 of the second displacer upper cover portion 22a so as to linearly align with the pair of first pin holes 48, and the first connector pin 24a vertically intersects the second connector pin 24b at the lateral hole 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
