Abstract:
To manage an apparatus properly upon communication blackout.SOLUTION: A remote operation system 100 includes a home apparatus 10, and a controller 30 placed in the hole and receiving an operation signal for operating the home apparatus 10 remotely, transmitted from a server 50 provided outside the house, and generating an operation instruction from the received operation signal and transmitting to the home apparatus 10. The home apparatus 10 has a communication unit for receiving a periodic signal transmitted from the controller 30 periodically, a detection module for detecting communication blackout in a communication channel 42 for transmitting the operation instruction from the controller 30 to the home apparatus 10, on the basis of presence of the periodic signal, and a state change module for changing the state of the home apparatus 10, upon occurrence of at least one of communication blackout detected by the detection part, and communication blackout in a communication channel 43 for transmitting the operation signal from the server 50 to the controller 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
