Abstract:
To prevent an operation failure caused by a shortage of electrical power, in a fuel supply device that supplies electrical power by generating its own power using a generator driven by an engine.SOLUTION: An amount of power-generating fuel fed through a fuel feed pipe 31 towards an engine 33 that drives a generator 34 is measured by an integrating flowmeter 36. The electrical power that allows all electrically powered apparatuses of a fuel supply station to be operated until diesel oil, gasoline and kerosene stored respectively in a diesel oil storage tank 10, a gasoline storage tank 11 and a kerosene storage tank 12 are sold out is generated by the generator 34. Then, a predetermined amount of diesel oil, which is a sufficient amount to be stored in a storage battery 35 (a supply amount to a power-generating fuel supply pump 30), is stored in a power-generating fuel container 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
