Abstract:
To provide a pressure control unit for enabling appropriate pressure reducing control of fuel in a high-pressure channel of a fuel injection system and the cooling of structural members.SOLUTION: A passage forming member 10 is provided in a high-pressure pipe as part of the high-pressure channel, and has a fuel passage 60 communicating the high-pressure channel with a low-pressure channel. A flow amount regulation part 20 is provided in a part of the fuel passage 60 for regulating the flow amount of fuel to be discharged from the high-pressure channel to the low-pressure channel. A cooling passage 80 is provided in the passage forming member 10, where fuel having a lower temperature than the fuel flowing the high-pressure channel flows. A joint passage is a passage where the fuel flowing out of the flow amount regulation part 20 and the fuel flowing in the cooling passage 80 are joined. The pressure control unit is constructed so that a flow amount change of the fuel flowing out of the flow amount regulation part 20 to the joint passage is suppressed with respect to a flow amount change of the fuel flowing out of the cooling passage 80 to the joint passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
