Abstract:
To provide the shutter device of a roller transportation type baking furnace dispensing with the provision of a large scale cooling mechanism to a shutter driving device vertically driving a vertically moving shutter member.SOLUTION: The shutter device S1 of a baking furnace has a vertically moving shutter member 48 provided in a space in a furnace body 16, a pair of supporting rods 50 passing through between transportation rollers 26 and protruded downward from a lower end of the vertically moving shutter member 48, and a shutter driving device 52 arranged under the furnace body 16 and vertically driving the vertically moving shutter member 48 via the pair of supporting rods 50 and positioning the vertically moving shutter member at an opened position and a closed position. The shutter driving device 52 is arranged under the furnace body 16 and is hardly affected by the heat of the furnace 16, therefore, provision of a large scale cooling mechanism to the shutter driving device 52 vertically driving the vertically moving shutter member 48 is not needed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
