Abstract:
To provide a production method of a high-purity lithium salt and to provide a lithium ion battery containing the lithium salt.SOLUTION: The production method of a lithium salt includes: a step of purifying lithium oxalate for industrial use; a synthetic reaction step of reacting lithium oxalate with boron trifluoride-ethyl ether to produce a mixed reaction liquid of lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate and tetrafluoroboric acid lithium and then purifying the reaction liquid with an auxiliary filtration membrane for purification; a step of concentrating and crystallizing the reaction liquid; and a step of subjecting a mixed lithium salt to purification and drying. The high-purity lithium salt is a mixed lithium salt including lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate and tetrafluoroboric acid lithium in a predetermined ratio of a molar ratio 1:1 and is applicable for a nonaqueous electrolyte for a lithium ion battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
