Abstract:
To provide a ground vibration prediction method that predicts ground vibration in the vicinity of a proposed new viaduct when a train is driven over the new viaduct, which obtains a prediction with higher accuracy by using measured data of ground vibrations in similar ground.SOLUTION: A ground vibration prediction method includes: an actual vehicle measurement step of measuring as first vibration data a vibration input from an existing viaduct to a reference ground 10 via a bridge pier 110 when a train 30 passes at a reference measurement position around the bridge pier; and a vibration prediction step of predicting a ground vibration of an object ground when the first vibration data is input, which corresponds to the position of the bridge pier of the new viaduct in the object ground. Here, the existing viaduct and the new viaduct are provided with footings 116 at the lower ends of the respective bridge piers, and a reference measurement position SP is provided outside a projection area where the footings are projected onto the ground surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
