Abstract:
To provide a segment assembly device and a shield excavator that can easily secure a large stroke in a limited space in a tunnel.SOLUTION: This segment assembly device 2 comprises a grip portion 7 of a segment SG, a first rotating member 4 and a second rotating member 5 that can individually rotate in a plane substantially orthogonal to the excavation direction, a first arm member 61 that is rotatably supported by the grip portion 7 at one end 61a and rotatably supported by the first rotating member 4 at the other end 61b, and a second arm member 62 that is rotatably supported by the grip portion 7 at one end 62a and rotatably supported by the second rotating member 5 at the other end 62b. The first and second rotating members 4 and 5 are configured to move the first and second arm members 61 and 62, respectively, by individually rotating the first and second arm members to move the grip portion 7 in a direction that is approximately orthogonal to the excavation direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
