Abstract:
To provide a fastening torque management tool, in which a socket of an automatic or manual fastener is fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the fastening torque management tool, and a large fastening torque is applied to the fastening torque management tool to fasten the fastener, thus even if the outer peripheral surface of the fastening torque management tool is also plastically deformed, it is prevented that the outer peripheral surface of the fastening torque management tool sticks onto an inner peripheral surface of the socket.SOLUTION: A fastening torque management tool 2 is integrally formed of synthetic resin, and has an inner peripheral surface that defines a storage hole with a lower end surface opening and an outer peripheral surface 8 having a similar shape to a torque-apply regular polygonal outer peripheral surface of a fastener. The inner peripheral surface that defines the storage hole has a configuration that recesses are partially formed on each of the side surfaces of a regular polygonal inner peripheral surface corresponding to the torque-apply regular polygonal outer peripheral surface of the fastener. When the fastener is stored in the storage hole at least partially and a fastening torque is applied to the outer peripheral surface, if the fastening torque exceeds a threshold value, the inner peripheral surface of the storage hole is partially deformed so as to spin with respect to the fastener.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
