Abstract:
To provide a cooling device capable of enhancing cooling efficiency of an object to be cooled, and to provide a projector.SOLUTION: A cooling device includes an evaporation part, a condensation part, an evaporation pipe and a liquid pipe. The evaporation part includes: a housing in which a liquid-phase working fluid flows; a wick which is provided in the housing, and which transports the liquid-phase working fluid; a reservoir for storing the liquid-phase working fluid which has flowed in the housing; and a groove including a plurality of flow passages where the working fluid which has changed into a gaseous phase from the liquid phase flows, and connected to the wick. The wick includes a plurality of through-holes for penetrating the wick from the reservoir along a first direction toward the groove, and for transporting the liquid-phase working fluid stored in the reservoir in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
