Abstract:
To improve accuracy in estimating full charge capacity of a battery.SOLUTION: A full charge capacity estimation device comprises: a storage section 4 which stores a deterioration line representing a corresponding relation between usage of a battery B and full charge capacity thereof for each use application thereof; an estimation section 51 which estimates the full capacity of the battery B using either an integrated value of charging current flowing through the battery B and charging rates before and after the same is charged or the deterioration line corresponding to a use application thereof; and a correction section 52 which corrects the full charge capacity estimated from the deterioration line either by adding a product ΔCα obtained by multiplying a difference ΔC between the full charge capacity C1 estimated from the integrated value of the charging current and the charging rates before and after the battery is charged and the full charge capacity C2 estimated from the deterioration line by a reflection rate α to the full charge capacity estimated from the deterioration line or by subtracting the product ΔCα from the full charge capacity estimated from the deterioration line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
