Abstract:
To fix a fixing tool in close contact with a cylindrical body, and fix the fixing tool so as not to slip in a lumen of the cylindrical body when executing a wire advancing or retreating operation by an operation handle on a hand side.SOLUTION: A high frequency treatment instrument includes: a cylindrical body 10 extending in a far-near direction, which includes at least a first lumen 11 and a second lumen 12; a metal wire 20, in which a part in a far-near direction is exposed to the outside of the cylindrical body, and the other part is disposed in the first lumen 11; and a fixing tool 30 which is fixed to the distal end part of the wire 20 and is in contact with an inner wall surface of the first lumen. The fixing tool includes a first section 31 whose cross section area on a cross section perpendicular to the far-near direction becomes small toward the distal side. When the first section is equally divided into a distal part, a central part, and a proximal part in the far-near direction, the surface roughness of the proximal part of the first section is larger than the surface roughness of the distal part of the first section. The surface roughness is the arithmetic mean roughness Ra in the reference length of a roughness curve in a circumferential direction of the surface of the fixing tool, the reference length being one fourth of the circumference of the fixing tool in each measurement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
