Abstract:
To provide a vehicle seat device which restricts tilting of a folded seat back to improve safety during a collision.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat device has: a seat cushion 3 supported by a vehicle body; a seat back support part 10 disposed at a rear part of the seat cushion 3 and fixed to the vehicle body; and a seat back 2 which is supported in a tiltable manner by the seat back support part 10 and can be brought down to the vehicle front side to be in a fold state where the seat back 2 is folded above the seat cushion 3. The vehicle seat device includes: a lateral collision sensor 30 which detects a collision of a vehicle; and a control unit 31 and a lock mechanism 25 which restrict tilting of the seat back 2 in a case that a collision of the vehicle is detected by the lateral collision sensor 30 when the seat back 2 is in the fold state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
