Abstract:
To provide a composite plated material having little appearance unevenness and excellent abrasion resistance without using a cyan-based silver plating solution nor using a silver plating solution comprising silver nitrate as a silver salt, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: A composite plated material is produced by carrying out electroplating using a sulfonic acid based silver plating solution with a carbon particle dispersion (preferably including a silicate) added thereto to form a composite plated film comprised of a composite material containing carbon particles in a silver layer, on a blank (preferably made from copper or a copper alloy).SELECTED DRAWING: None
