Abstract:

To warm up an emission control catalyst before starting an engine.SOLUTION: A catalyst warm-up device 200 includes a blowing part 210 provided in an exhaust pipe 160 communicated with an engine E between the engine E and an emission control catalyst 162 and capable of blowing air toward the emission control catalyst 162, a fuel supply part 220 for making the emission control catalyst 162 hold fuel, and a blow control part 230 for starting to drive the blowing part 210 at a predetermined starting timing before starting the engine E. Thus, the catalyst warm-up device 200 can warm up the emission control catalyst 162 before staring the engine E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
