Abstract:
To achieve efficiency of ultrasonic scanning performed by a robot.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic automatic scan system comprises at least one ultrasonic probe 2, a mechanical structure 6, a detection unit, a control unit and a scan control unit. The ultrasonic probe transmits and receives ultrasonic. The mechanical structure holds the ultrasonic probe and moves the ultrasonic probe in a state of directing a transmission/reception surface of the ultrasonic toward a subject. The detection unit detects distance information between a body surface of the subject and the transmission/reception surface on each of a first scan position and a second scan position along a body surface of the subject on the basis of the ultrasonic which is transmitted and received by the ultrasonic probe. The control unit controls the mechanical mechanism so as to move the ultrasonic probe on the basis of the distance information. The scan control unit controls scanning of the subject at the first and second scan positions. The control unit controls the mechanical mechanism so as to move the ultrasonic probe to the second position after detection of the distance information and the ultrasonic scan are executed on the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
