Abstract:
To provide a welding method of a high tension streel material capable of restraining the occurrence of a low temperature crack.SOLUTION: A welding joint is welded by multilayer welding by using a welding material by butting mutual groove-processed high tension steel materials. A welding joint is provided by laminating welding metal to a residual area in a groove after covering the whole area of a groove surface by laminating the welding metal of a plurality of layers along the groove surface up to reaching an upper end part of the groove in welding. Thus, a residual quantity of diffusible hydrogen in the welding metal is reduced. According to the present invention, the occurrence of a low temperature crack is restrained without preheating or even when preheated by a low preheating temperature of 55°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
