Abstract:
To enable optimal adjustment of a compression ratio.SOLUTION: An engine device is equipped with a rotary piston type engine. The engine includes a cylindrical housing, a first piston member rotatably supported in the housing, and a second piston member rotatably supported in the housing. The housing, the first piston member and the second piston member form a combustion chamber for burning fuel. The engine device further includes a first rotary electric machine connected to the first piston member, a second rotary electric machine connected to the second piston member, and a control device. The control device adjusts a control amount of the first rotary electric machine with respect to the first piston member, and a control amount of the second rotation electric machine with respect to the second piston member, thereby controlling positions of the first piston member and the second piston member when igniting the fuel in the combustion chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
