Abstract:
To provide a transmission which enables the operability thereof to be improved, and a vehicle.SOLUTION: The transmission comprises: a first rotary shaft: a second rotary shaft having dog teeth, coaxial with the first rotary shaft, fitted externally onto the first rotary shaft, and relatively rotatable with respect to the first rotary shaft: a first engagement portion rotating integrally with the first rotary shaft, and arranged at the dog teeth to be engageable therewith; a plurality of gears coaxial with the second rotary shaft, relatively rotatable with respect to the second rotary shaft, and different from one another in transmission gear ratios; a second engagement portion rotating integrally with the second rotary shaft, and arranged at the plurality of gears to be selectively engageable therewith; an actuator making the second engagement portion engaged with each of the plurality of gears, or separating it from each of the plurality of gears; and a control unit controlling the actuator in such a manner that the second engagement portion is engaged with a preset gear among the plurality of gears on the basis of a traveling state of a vehicle when the first rotary shaft and the second rotary shaft integrally rotate by the engagement of at least the first engagement portion with the dog teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
