Abstract:
To provide a function that restricts the function setting for printing by a simple scheme.SOLUTION: An image processing program includes a port monitor 24 and a special-purpose application 25. The port monitor 24 causes a control unit 11 to execute an activating process, a storing process, and a transmitting process. The special-purpose application 25 causes the control unit 11 to execute a restriction determining process, a cancel requesting process, and a print data transmitting process. The transmitting process obtains print data, and transmits function setting information that indicates a function setting contained in the print data to the special-purpose application 25. The restriction determining process compares the obtained function setting information with function restriction information stored in a storing unit 12, and determines whether or not the information indicating the function setting is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
