Abstract:
To provide a horizontal articulated robot and a robot system capable of downsizing.SOLUTION: A horizontal articulated robot comprises: a base; a first arm coupled to the base and rotating about a first axis: a second arm coupled to the first arm and rotating about a second axis arranged in parallel with the first axis; a third arm coupled to the second arm and rotating about a third axis arranged in parallel with the first axis, and moving along the third axis; a motor disposed in the second arm and driving the third arm; and a force detection part disposed in between the motor and the second arm, and detecting a reaction force derived from the driving of the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
