Abstract:
To improve gas permeability at a bottom portion of a blast furnace by injection of pulverized ore through a tuyere.SOLUTION: The present invention provides the operation method of a blast furnace 1 that comprises the injection of a pulverized coal and the pulverized ore through a tuyere 2, in which the pulverized coal is produced by pulverizing coal, the pulverized ore is produced by pulverizing iron ore that has an ignition loss of 9 mass% or more and 12 mass% or less, an injection ratio of the pulverized coal is 150 kg/tp or more, and an injection ratio of the pulverized ore is 2.5 kg/tp or more and 50.0 kg/tp or less. Preferably, the iron ore and the coal are pulverized together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
