Abstract:
To properly diagnose the sticking of a relay.SOLUTION: A load drive circuit of an ECU 1 includes a drive circuit 7, a diagnostic circuit 9, and a microcomputer 2. The drive circuit 7 opens and closes a main relay 11 that can relay power. The diagnostic circuit 9 is provided to monitor a contact voltage of the main relay 11. The microcomputer 2 is configured to be able to control the drive circuit 7 to stop the supply of power to itself. The diagnostic circuit 9 has a time constant capable of detecting an intermediate potential over a predetermined period when the main relay 11 is normal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
