Abstract:
To prevent inflow of a radioactive substance into a facility at the time when existence of the radioactive substance in air over an allowable value determined on the radioactive substance, is detected.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system has an air conditioner 3 for normal time and an air conditioner 4 for emergency, air filter mechanisms 8-10 integrated in the air conditioner 4 for emergency and removing a radioactive substance, a radiation detector 13 disposed at least near an outside air intake port of the air conditioner 3 for normal time and detecting a radiation dose and radionuclide in atmospheric air, and air conditioner switching means 6 for switching from a state that the air conditioner 3 for normal time is operated and the air conditioner 4 for emergency is not operated to a state that the air conditioner 4 for emergency is operated and the air conditioner 3 for normal time is not operated, when it is detected that at least one kind of radioactive substances is over an allowable value determined on the radioactive substance in the atmospheric air on the basis of a result of the detection of the radiation detector 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
