Abstract:
To provide a new type of recycled meta-aramid fiber with high rupture strength in meta-aramid fiber having excellent properties such as heat resistance, flame resistance, and mechanical properties by recycling fiber structures such as used fabrics, spun yarns, and fiber scraps.SOLUTION: A fiber structure composed of meta-type fully aromatic polyamide fiber is stretched after (1) dissolving the fiber structure in an amide solvent containing 5-50 wt.% of inorganic salt to the total aromatic polyamide fiber, (2) dissolving the meta-type fully aromatic polyamide polymeric material in the solution to prepare a meta-type fully aromatic polyamide spinning dope, and (3) spinning the dope for spinning into a coagulation solution containing 30-45 wt.% of inorganic salt and 1-20 wt.% of amide solvents.SELECTED DRAWING: None
