Abstract:
To solve the problem that progression of aging of some of transport rollers causes difference in transport speed among the transport rollers and thus produces defects such as frequent jamming and paper wrinkles.SOLUTION: An image forming device provided herein is configured to issue an instruction to display a message indicating the presence of a fault, or an instruction to display a message indicating that a feeder stage feeding a medium determined to be faulty is disabled, when a deviation ΔΘ is not within a range between ΔΘTHMAX and ΔΘTHMIN corresponding to the medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
