Abstract:
To provide a cutting plotter configured so that Blade protrusion amounts can be adjusted without depending on judgement by a user and a work stage is opened widely.SOLUTION: The cutting plotter comprises a work stage 4, a pen carriage 7, a driving device for the pen carriage 7, a cutting pen 2 with a blade, attached to the pen carriage 7, and a pressing device for the cutting pen 2, where the work stage 4 has a second knock part 17 whose hole into which the blade can be inserted opens. The cutting pen 2 comprises a medium pressing member inserted into the cutting pen main body 52 movably in a longitudinal direction, which further comprises: a first knock mechanism which gradually changes blade protrusion amounts by repeated reciprocation of the medium pressing member at first movement stroke with respect to the cutting pen main body 52, and a second knock mechanism that reduces the blade protrusion amounts to zero by reciprocation of the medium pressing member at second movement stroke longer than the first movement stroke with respect to the cutting pen main body 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
