Abstract:
To provide a photocatalytic toothpick which is intended for the bleaching of teeth by eliminating an interdental treatment in an oral cavity by a photocatalyst titanium oxide which reacts with ultraviolet rays or visible light applied to a tip, sterilizing and decomposing bacteria such as gums, and preventing the oral breath for improving and maintaining a clean state of the oral cavity, by being used for a long period of time for a half a year.SOLUTION: A cylindrical toothpick which took the safety and environment of the point 2 into consideration even when it is made of wood and paper, or a narrow case, or made of metal or resin, in which by making the photocatalyst 3 apply to a point in all the directions uniformly over 360 degree. After causing a photocatalysis in the mouth by opening mouth, by removing unpleasant food inspection 11 by inserting between teeth 10 or contacting the tip part to gum, reacting with bacterium adhering between teeth or gum by optical catalyst activity an extinction action of the bacterium by sterilization and decomposition is obtained to make the oral cavity sanitary, thus, a photocatalytic toothpick which has a dental bleaching effect and is suitable for improving the inside of an oral cavity and keeping it clean by preventing dental caries and bad breath and also using a half year or more for a long period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
