Abstract:
To provide a luminance compensation method for a display including a vertical organic light-emitting transistor in which variation in luminance is suppressed for a long time, and a display.SOLUTION: A luminance compensation method for a display including a plurality of vertical organic light-emitting transistors and a storage unit that stores characteristic information of the vertical organic light-emitting transistors includes a step (A) of applying voltage for luminance inspection to a gate electrode of the vertical organic light-emitting transistor to be corrected, a step (B) of measuring current flowing in a current supply line where current is supplied to a source electrode of the vertical organic light-emitting transistor by applying the voltage for the luminance inspection to a gate electrode of the vertical organic light-emitting transistor to be corrected, and a step (C) of determining a correction value of the voltage to be applied to the gate electrode of the vertical organic light-emitting transistor on the basis of a current value measured in the step (B) and the characteristic information of the vertical organic light-emitting transistor stored in the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
