Abstract:
To suppress deterioration in energy efficiency while appropriately performing backlash elimination in an electric transmission mechanism upon applying pressing torque to the electric transmission mechanism during motor traveling.SOLUTION: During motor traveling, upon applying, to a transmission part 22, pressing torque by a first rotary machine MG1 which acts in a prescribed backlash elimination direction in backlash elimination in the transmission part 22, when an MG1 electrical angle θem1 is within a prescribed electrical angle range in which MG1 cogging torque becomes equal to or greater than prescribed torque Tpre required for the backlash elimination in the prescribed backlash elimination direction, the pressing torque is made small as compared to when the MG1 electrical angle θem1 is outside the prescribed electrical angle range. Thus, when the backlash elimination can be performed in the transmission part 22 by using only the MG1 cogging torque, the output of uselessly large pressing torque from the first rotary machine MG1 is suppressed. As a result, upon applying the pressing torque to the transmission part 22 during the motor traveling, it is possible to suppress deterioration in energy efficiency while appropriately performing the backlash elimination in the transmission part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
