Abstract:
To provide a technology that can prevent use of an electric tool with a handle removed.SOLUTION: The specification discloses an electric tool. The electric tool may include: a motor; a power transmission mechanism connected to the motor; a control unit which controls driving of the motor; a housing which houses the motor, the power transmission mechanism, and the control unit; a tip tool holding part which is connected to the power transmission mechanism and to which a tip tool is detachably attached; a handle detachably attached to the housing; and a mechanical switch which detects whether or not the handle is attached to the housing. In a case that the mechanical switch does not detect the handle being attached to the housing, the control unit may prohibit rotation of the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
