Abstract:
To prevent occurrence of defective products whose color deviation exceeds an allowable range even when printing is performed on long paper.SOLUTION: A printer that enables printing of long paper includes: an image formation part which forms continuous images on long paper based on printing image data; a color detection part which detects a color of the image formed on the long paper after image formation; a color determination part which determines whether or not color deviation between the detected color and a color of the printing image data corresponding to a detection position exceed a predetermined reference value; and a printing control part which feedbacks a determination result to control of the image formation during printing of the continuous images when the color deviation exceeds the reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
