Abstract:
To reduce a pressure loss in an intake passage, and to suppress the generation of a cavitation caused by the lowering of intake pressure, in a balanced vane pump.SOLUTION: A plurality of intake ports 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d are formed at an external periphery of a cam ring 4 which forms a plurality of pump chambers 8 together with a rotor 3, vanes 5 and a pump casing 10, and oppositely arranged so as to communicate with an intake region in which capacities of the plurality of pump chambers 8 are increased accompanied by the rotation of the rotor 3. A plurality of discharge ports 7a, 7b are formed at the pump casing 10, and oppositely arranged so as to communicate with a discharge region in which the capacities of the plurality of pump chambers 8 are reduced accompanied by the rotation of the rotor 3. Flow-in directions of fluids (working fluids) from the plurality of intake ports 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d are set so as to be oriented to the same sides not at a side opposite to, nor perpendicular to rotation directions of all the vanes 5 of the rotor 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
