Abstract:
To provide an improved mechanical thrombectomy device having enhanced visibility during diagnostic imaging (e.g., fluoroscopy).SOLUTION: An expandable mechanical device for use during a thrombectomy medical procedure having enhanced visibility during imaging. Furthermore, the configuration of an eyelet 500 and/or strut optimizes retention of a marker 505 in the eyelet during the medical procedure without increasing overall profile of the strut.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
