Abstract:
To reduce a dye concentration of a highlight part of a print image in a thermal transfer ribbon and reduce a process load in an aging treatment and the like.SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer ribbon 1, on one side of a base material 10, a dye layer 20 and a transferable protective layer 30 are repeatedly formed. The dye layer 20 is a composition containing a compound having a urethane bond obtained by a reaction between a hydroxy group and isocyanate in a polyol component, the dye layer containing an amine catalyst with a dissociation temperature of 50°C or higher and 80°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
