Abstract:
To reduce a length of a rear center.SOLUTION: A power-assisted bicycle 1 includes: a bicycle frame 11 rotatably supporting a front wheel and a rear wheel 15; a motor which generates driving force which rotates at least one of the front wheel and the rear wheel; and a battery 13 which supplies electric power to the motor. The battery includes: first battery cells 16 in each of which a center axis O1 extending in a longitudinal direction extends in a lateral direction; and second battery cells 17, in each of which a center axis O2 extending in the longitudinal direction extends in an anteroposterior direction. The first battery cells are provided between a seat tube 19, in which a saddle is attached to an upper end part, of the bicycle frame and the rear wheel. The second battery cells are located adjacent to at least one of the seat tube and the rear wheel in the lateral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
