Abstract:
To provide a light emitting element having a structure in which a fluorescent light emitting layer and a phosphorescent light emitting layer are stacked, and exhibiting good light emitting efficiency.SOLUTION: A light emitting element includes at least a lamination structure in which an EL layer is provided between a pair of electrodes, the EL layer includes a light emitting layer, and the light emitting layer is in contact with a first light emitting layer exhibiting fluorescence and a second light emitting layer exhibiting phosphorescence, and the second light emitting layer includes at least a plurality of layers forming an exciplex, and the layer forming the exciplex is in contact with a layer that exhibits an emission peak that has a longer wavelength than those of the emission peaks obtained from two layers between the two layers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
