To make it possible to drive a rod body into a ground properly and safely.SOLUTION: A rod body driving tool comprises: a struck portion 2 which covers an upper part of a rod body 101 and which is formed to be wider than an upper face of the rod body 101 so that an upper face 2a is easily to be struck by a hammer; a gripping portion 3 connected with the struck portion 2 and for holding the struck portion 2; and a protection portion 5 provided in the struck portion 2 and preventing a head of the hammer from going toward the gripping portion 3 side when the head strikes the upper face 2a of the struck portion 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
