Abstract:
To provide a suitable rolling bearing which can achieve both suppressing of creeping and miniaturization of the rolling bearing.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing includes an outer ring 2, an inner ring 4 which rotates with respect to the outer ring 2, and a rolling element 6 interposed between the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 4. An inner periphery of the outer ring 2 includes a raceway surface 3, and an outer periphery includes a cylindrical surface 2a formed on the whole periphery on the radially opposite side from the raceway surface 3, two pieces of annular grooves 10 on each of which an elastic body 11 is to be mounted, and a surface processing layer 12 formed on both sides in the axial direction from the cylindrical surface 2a with height in the radial direction. The two pieces of annular grooves 10 are positioned outside in the axial direction of the cylindrical surface 2a. The surface of the surface processing layer 12 is made to be a fitting surface 12a having a cylindrical surface shape. The height in the radial direction of the surface processing layer 12 has the size in which, during an operation, the cylindrical surface 2a comes into a non-contact state with a mating member which is to be fitted in the fitting surface 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
