Abstract:
To provide a novel therapeutic method for the treatment of hyperproliferative diseases, such as cancer, the method targeting multiple translation factors involved in the initiation of mRNA translation.SOLUTION: A method for treating a hyperproliferative disease comprises administering an effective amount of an eIF4A inhibitor and a MNK-specific inhibitor to a subject having the hyperproliferative disease. In addition to the administration, administration of an eIF4E inhibitor, mTOR inhibitor, or PI3K inhibitor may be further included.SELECTED DRAWING: None
