To provide an electric power simulation device and an electric power simulation method, which allow for simulating each operation.SOLUTION: An electric power simulation device provided herein is configured to perform electric power simulation on a system comprising a power supply unit with solar cells and a primary battery, and a load circuit configured to operate on power supplied from the power supply unit, the electric power simulation device comprising a computation unit configured to acquire information on capacity of the primary battery, estimate an operatable duration of the system based on an amount of power generated by the solar cells, power consumption of the load circuit, and the information on capacity of the primary battery, and display the estimated duration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
