Abstract:
To provide evaluation methods for evaluating the ingredients contained in hair and/or scalp compositions without sensory evaluation, or to provide production methods of hair and/or scalp compositions containing the ingredients evaluated by the evaluation method.SOLUTION: Provided is an evaluation method of the ingredient to be added to a hair and/or scalp composition, the method is characterized by measuring an expression level (A) of melanin synthesis genes and/or melanin transport genes in cells to which the ingredient to be evaluated is added and an expression level (B) of melanin synthesis genes and/or melanin transport genes in cells to which the ingredient to be compared is added or cells to which the ingredient to be compared is not added for the comparison between the expression level (A) and the expression level (B). Also provided is a production method of the hair and/scalp composition containing the ingredients evaluated by the evaluation method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
