Abstract:
To provide an imaging element and a signal readout circuit thereof capable of adjusting the light receiving sensitivity for each pixel or pixel block.SOLUTION: A signal readout circuit of an imaging element provided with a photoelectric conversion unit whose light receiving sensitivity changes depending on an applied voltage includes, in a pixel, an applied voltage setting circuit that sets the applied voltage of the photoelectric conversion unit of the pixel in a second light receiving period following a first light receiving period on the basis of a signal detection value of the pixel detected in the first light receiving period. Further, the photoelectric conversion unit of the imaging element is composed of a photoelectric conversion film capable of multiplying the avalanche.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
