Abstract:
To provide a synchronous reluctance motor capable of having high output torque and low torque ripple.SOLUTION: A synchronous reluctance motor comprises a toric stator core 9, S-units of slots 14 arranged equally spaced along the inner peripheral surface of the stator core 9, coils stored in each slot 14, and a rotor core 11 having cylindrically P-units of magnetic poles on the inner surface side of the stator core 9. A plurality of slits 15 consisting of arcuate openings which become convex toward the cylindrical center for each magnetic pole and have each apex on a q-axis is provided. A mutual angle θ formed by the center point of a portion along the cylindrical outer peripheral surface on the opening and the cylindrical center between the adjacent slits 15 is a constant value between the adjacent slits 15. The angle θ is set within a range of 360°/2S<θ<360°/1.15S. An angle formed by the center point of the slit 15 most adjacent to a d-axis and the d-axis is θ/2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
